Mike and Ally Seder are Texas Children’s Hospital Lifetime Ambassadors and have hosted successful fundraisers for Children’s Miracle Network.

The Memorial Hermann Hospital Foundation
Mike and Ally are sustaining donors and Ally sits on the board for Canopy Cancer Center.

The John Cooper School
Mike and Ally’s daughter, Maddie, attends John Cooper as a sophomore, and they are longtime donors for the school.

The Montgomery County Women’s Center
Ally has served on their board for 5 years, their executive committee for 3 years and started one of their largest annual fundraisers, “Open Your Purse for Change”. She has helped raise over $1 Million for the Montgomery County Women’s Center and is constantly coming up with new fundraising ideas, with Mike always her biggest supporter. Ally was named their “Woman of Distinction” in 2017.

Angel Reach
Mike and Ally are strong supporters of Angel Reach and Ally has co-chaired their Wings, Wheels & Heels gala twice.

The Pangea Network
Ally joined their board in 2017 and has chaired their “Out of Africa fundraiser” for two years. Mike and Ally are also sustaining donors for this non-profit organization.

“Open Your Purse for Change” set for Feb. 22 to benefit the Women’s Center’s mission to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault

The Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC) will hold its 6th annual “Open Your Purse for Change” event on Friday, February 22, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at The Woodlands Country Club – Legacy Ballroom at 100 Grand Fairway Dr. The popular event is the non-profit’s largest fundraiser. The elegant luncheon features a silent auction of new or gently-loved handbags along with designer sunglasses. Ultra-realistic, mock designer purse decorated cakes will be presented at each table as a visual and scrumptious delight. The event also features an inspirational speaker who shares a testimonial about surviving domestic and/or sexual abuse.

Leading this year’s event are Ally Seder, chair, along with co-chairs Shirelle Chimenti and Angie Signorelli.

Open Your Purse for Change Luncheon
This year marked the fifth annual Open Your Purse for Change luncheon, and it was more popular and successful than ever with a crowd of 200 guests who helped raise over $117,000. The Feb. 23 event featured a special guest speaker who candidly shared her journey of going from a domestic “victim” to a strong “survivor” thanks to the help and support she received from the Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC).

Women’s Center’s “Open Your Purse for Change” event raises $117,000 for victims of domestic abuse
It’s amazing how a simple purse could bring about so much inspiration and power. But a purse is exactly what caught Ally Seder’s attention several years ago when she toured the Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC). The symbolic purse gave Seder the idea to host a fundraising luncheon in which ladies would donate new or gently-loved handbags to be auctioned to benefit the Women’s Center. This year marked the fifth year for Open You Purse for Change, and it was more popular and successful than ever with a crowd of 200 guests in attendance who helped raise over $117,000.
